One of the accused of the group rape of an 11-year-old girl, which took place in the Màgic de Badalona shopping center in mid-November 2022, has re-entered a juvenile center, according to the journalist Anna Punsí. The young man had initially entered a center of these characteristics, but the defense appealed the decision and managed to revoke it on April 12 of this year.
Subsequently, the prosecution filed an appeal to the new situation before the Provincial Court, which now annuls the previous decision and sends the minor back to a closed regime center. This is the only minor who has this type of regime for the alleged violation.
The alleged group rape of November 2022 in Badalona was not the only one in the center. After the event was made public, three more cases were reported, which are now being investigated by the Mossos d'Esquadra.
The case prompted death threats against one of the alleged attackers, specifically the victim's brother. A fact that caused the family of the person affected to have to leave Badalona.
Of the six involved, a second minor is free and the other four are under fourteen years old, so they are not subject to prosecution.
