NASA selects another image published in Las Fotos de los Lectores de 'La Vanguardia'

NASA has once again highlighted the quality of the images published in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia. On this occasion, one of the photographs published by Emili Vilamala in the report El sol manchado del abismo de la Agullola.

"NASA has selected this image that was published in La Vanguardia of the sun rising over the Riscal de Rupit with the Agullola on the right, on its Facebook Sky page, with 319,000 followers, and the one it has on Instagram, Universe View Screen", highlights Vilamala.

"To capture the image I used the old 80-400 Sony lens and even older Kenko Pro 300 manual focal length tripler, Sony A99 camera," details the author of the snapshot.

The photograph shows how the sun rises through the abysses of Pla de Fàbregues, illuminating what we see on the right of the image, the spectacular Agullola de Rupit, an abyss separated from the rest and with a height of 921.9 meters.

This Collsacabra abyss is located in Rupit and is visible from many parts. The thin clouds acted as a filter, being able to photograph the sun directly without dazzling and, at the same time, being able to see its spots or eruptions.
