In principle, the Community of Madrid is going to sign an agreement with the College of Opticians and Optometrists to activate the non-refundable subsidy.
The aid will be granted in the opticians that join the agreement and the beneficiaries will only be able to enjoy it once a year. In addition, six months must pass between a benefit and that corresponding to the following year.
All boys and girls under 14 years of age will be eligible for the program, regardless of family income. The Ministry of Health, as published in 20 minutes, estimates that around 135,000 children living in the Community of Madrid will benefit, for which an investment of around 7.5 million euros is planned.
