The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, announced this Thursday the debut of paying fees and taxes with Bizum from your mobile, a measure to "simplify administrative procedures and offer a new, faster and more comfortable option to Madrid residents in their tax obligations".

He advanced this during his speech at the Spain Investors Day forum, which brings together multinationals and Ibex-35 companies to learn about and analyze the opportunities present in the market and Spanish companies.

There, he highlighted this new system through Bizum, which can now be used and is operational for the payment of public fees and prices such as Special Regime Education (music and dance and languages) and fees for issuing degrees or certificates.

In the coming weeks it can also be used for regional management taxes such as Asset Transfers, Documented Legal Acts and Inheritances and Donations.

The Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment has developed the Bizum option through the Virtual Tax Office, adding this payment channel to the existing ones, such as the bank card, debit to account or the possibility of downloading the models to carry out the payment. in-person payment at collaborating financial entities.

The Bizum platform itself has established daily limits for users of 3,000 euros and 10,000 monthly for all their payments; and a maximum of 10 operations per day and 100 per month.

The Virtual Tax Office was launched in March 2023 by the Community of Madrid to unify the telematic management of the self-assessment models corresponding to the taxes over which Madrid has powers, which are Asset Transfers, Documented Legal Acts and Inheritances and Donations.

Thus, it allows users to complete their procedures completely electronically, without the need to download a help program or import files and, in addition, with the possibility of carrying out the entire process from a mobile device.
