Lexus brings asphalt art to the gallery

A reference brand for its search for perfection, the quality of its products and sophisticated technology, Lexus has for decades shown a strong commitment to various artistic manifestations of the first magnitude. The Japanese brand's connection to art and design reaches new heights with the celebration of Lexus Art Week.

Lexus will be present at the 2024 edition of Arco Madrid, where the brand will be the official vehicle of the event for the fifth consecutive year. From March 6 to 10, the Ifema facilities host the renowned international contemporary art fair in Spain, which has been held since 1982.

The Japanese brand will have its own stand where it will show the artistic intervention that, on the RX model, has won the Lexus Art Car 2023 contest. Lexus will provide a fleet of hybrid and plug-in hybrid cars to transport guests to the fair.

During the same dates, from March 6 to 10, the 19th edition of Art Madrid will be held in the Crystal Gallery of the Cibeles Palace, an event that brings together some forty national and international galleries that will provide a current and fresh vision of the panorama world artistic.

The sponsorship of Art Madrid is another action to support art and design, and Lexus sets itself the challenge of selling a unique vehicle, an NX unit operated by the multidisciplinary artistic collective Casa Antillón, which can only be purchased at Art Madrid.

Lexus Art Week is completed with the sponsorship of UVNT Art Fair, which celebrates its eighth edition between March 7 and 10. This fair brings together the best emerging and mid-career artists and big established names from the national and international contemporary scene, with the clear objective of reimagining the current cultural landscape through contemporary art.

Under this exciting premise, Lexus has made the new LBX available to emerging artist Sergio Mora, a small premium urban SUV aimed at connecting with a younger audience. Starting from a red LBX, the artist has turned the vehicle into a work of art that will be on display during the event.

As part of UVNT Art Fair, Lexus also collaborates in the public art program, a route that invites reflection and artistic appreciation within the frenetic pace of Madrid. The works will be exhibited from February 26 to March 12 in Plaza del Callao, in Montera with Gran Vía and in Gran Vía with Alcalá.
