Leonor makes her image from the day the Constitution was sworn into iconic

The image of Princess Leonor dressed in a white pantsuit on the day that, on the occasion of her coming of age, she swore the Constitution before the Cortes, has already become iconic. In addition to the images that were obtained on October 31, both in Congress and in the Royal Palace, the Kings chose a family photo, captured that same day, to illustrate their Christmas greetings and this Friday, Zarzuela, distributed the new official portraits of Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía, in individual photographs also taken on October 31.

The two official photos replace the previous ones that were captured and posted on the Casa Real website in 2020, when Leonor was still 14 years old and her sister, Sofía, had just turned 13.

Both the Princess of Asturias and her sister's Infanta Sofía wear the same clothes they wore at the official events: Leonor, the pantsuit made at the Serna tailoring shop, while Sofía wears the dress from the Erdem brand that, on a rent, he dressed on that occasion. The princess wears the insignia of the Golden Fleece on her lapel, the highest decoration awarded by the Royal House, which her father granted her on the occasion of her 10th birthday and which was imposed on her on January 30, 2018, the same day that Felipe VI turned 50 years. Along with the Fleece insignia, Leonor wears that of Charles III's Collar that she received on October 31.

The King's House has distributed the new images, captured by its official photographer, Francisco Gómez, four days after publishing the Christmas greetings of the kings and their daughters, with a photo of the four also taken on the day of their 18th birthday and with the same clothing.

The previous official portraits of the princess and the infanta date from February 10, 2020 and were part of a series in which both posed for the first time with the Kings. In that album, the work of Madrid portraitist Estela de Castro, there were also individual photos of the heiress and her sister. Leonor de Borbón had her first official solo portrait of her when she turned 12, on October 31, 2017.
