LaLiga denounces racist insults against Vinícius at Camp Nou

LaLiga has filed a complaint for racist insults against Vinícius during the classic that Barça and Real Madrid played on March 19 at the Camp Nou. This is the eighth complaint that the agency has filed for racist chants against the Brazilian player.

"Given the events that occurred in the FC Barcelona-Real Madrid match, in which once again intolerable racist behavior was observed against Vinícius Jr, LaLiga has denounced racist insults before the Barcelona Investigating Courts," LaLiga reported through a release.

In addition, the note recalls that "to speed up this identification, LaLiga has set up a complaints channel at the following link on the website www.laliga.com so that fans who may have information or some indication of the identity of the responsible, can get in touch with LaLiga and provide the necessary identification to file the pertinent complaints".

According to LaLiga informants, therefore, the white footballer was once again the object of racist insults, also coinciding with the day in which the week against racism in Spanish football was celebrated and in which the players of FC Barcelona and the Real Madrid posed under the slogan 'Unity' in order to eradicate this behaviour.

This week the news has also been released that Mallorca has expelled for three years the fan who uttered racist insults against Vinícius and Chukwueze, in the matches that the island team played against Real Madrid and Villarreal, respectively.

In another episode of intolerable behavior in football, today it was revealed that three Lazio fans have been banned for life for anti-Semitic behaviour. The events occurred during the derby against Roma last Sunday.

After reviewing the security cameras, the authorities identified a fan with the name 'Hitlerson' on the shirt, in addition to the number 88, of Nazi symbology. The other two fans were penalized for making fascist salutes during the match.
