Lady Gaga and other celebrities who treasure a Tesla Cybertruck in their garage

It looks like a science fiction car, but it's real. Seemingly indestructible, large and with a characteristic futuristic design, the Tesla Cybertruck has become the latest fashion whim among American celebrities. It is an electric pick-up truck type vehicle, of which Elon Musk's company has produced three versions that range between $61,000 and $100,000: 'Rear-Wheel Drive', 'All Wheel Drive' and 'Cyberbeast' .

Among its many peculiarities, the Cybertruck presents an exoskeleton-type body made of cold-rolled stainless steel that gives it greater resistance to shocks. Likewise, some of its versions have 4x4 traction and a directional rear axle, which allows the turn to be synchronized to improve dynamics at very high speeds.

This striking model, with EPA ranges of between 400 and 500 km, which can reach up to 750 km if an optional Range Exrender battery is incorporated, did not go unnoticed at its 2019 presentation. Therefore, since the first deliveries in November 2023, more and more celebrities, such as Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber or Kim Kardashian, are betting on having a copy in their garages.

The New York singer Lady Gaga was seen strolling through Malibu aboard this car that, according to the brand itself, is “made for any planet.” The Italian media outlet Whoopsee was the first to publish a series of images in which the artist is seen with three coffees, getting into the passenger seat.

The Tesla Cybertruck is already years behind schedule in its production and distribution, so deliveries are expected to slow down even more. Despite this, the DJ, remixer and record producer of Japanese origin, Steve Aoki, has not hesitated to boast through his social networks of owning one of these exclusive vehicles: “It looks like you are driving a tank. It’s epic,” he comments.

Author of hits like “Happy” or “Get Lucky”, rapper Pharrell Williams is the owner of one of these futuristic cars, specifically the Foundation Series edition. However, the large dimensions of the Tesla Cybertruck must be taken into account when driving with it. As the mechanic Ángel Gaitán assured in 'Horizonte', Iker Jiménez's program, "with the weight it has, here (in Spain) we would have to drive it with a truck license." For this same reason, parking it must not be an easy task and this was confirmed by Williams himself in front of a Louis Vuitton store in Miami.

The presenter and comedian Jay Leno is another of those who has been seduced by the characteristic Tesla model. In this sense, he borrowed one of the first units that were manufactured to publish a series of videos driving the Cybertruck on his Jay Leno's Garage YouTube show.

There are many celebrities who have large collections of cars and, among them, Kim Kardashian deserves a special mention. If she already had several Mercedes-Benz, Lamborghini, Ferrari and Rolls-Royce models, the businesswoman now also owns a Tesla Cybertruck.

Although the marketing of this vehicle has caused a sensation; Its production is currently focused on the United States, Mexico and Canada. Likewise, it has generated numerous doubts regarding the security it offers. Ángel Gaitán has reflected on the issue, pointing out that “in Spain we are not going to have the Cybertruck because it is not adapted to European traffic regulations. The edges, the hard materials that it has and that Elon Musk boasts so much about, could kill and split any pedestrian in half.”
