'Julieta's journey' will open a Most Festival that will reward Julieta Serrano

The Most International Wine Film Festival will present the Honorary Award to Spanish actress Julieta Serrano in its eleventh edition, which will be held from November 3 to 13 in Penedès (Barcelona and Tarragona) and from 23 to 27 in Priorat (Tarragona ).

Thus, the festival will vindicate Serrano's commitment as an actress of "great rigor, versatility and craft, but above all to an overwhelming passion for cinema, to which she has dedicated her entire life," the organization reported in a statement this Thursday. .

The festival will open with the documentary 'Julieta's Journey', by Pancho García Matienzo, which includes talks by Pedro Almodóvar, Héctor Alterio, Antonio Banderas, Ana Belén, Rossy de Palma, Carme Elias, Núria Espert, Cayetana Guillén Cuervo or Marisa Paredes, among others.

Another of the highlights will be the closing gala, which will be held on Sunday, November 13 at the Vilafranca Municipal Auditorium. It will star in the premiere in Catalonia of the film Suro, by Mikel Gurrea, who will attend the event in person.

The ceremony will be presented by the journalist Xavier Graset. In Suro, which competed in the last edition of the San Sebastián festival and won the FIPRESCI Award, Helena and Iván are a young couple from the city who try to lead a sustainable rural life, but come up against the bitter side of the Catalan countryside.
