An expert in communication issues, he worked as a scriptwriter, commentator and director on Radio Nacional de España, the Ser network and Onda Cero.
Born in 1944 in Solana del Pino (Ciudad Real), he shared a studio and microphone with names that have left their mark in the history of radio, such as Luis del Olmo, Carlos Herrera or his wife, Concha García Campoy, who died ten years ago. years.
Along with communication, gastronomy was his other passion and the result of these two facets are the more than 20 books dedicated to both topics.
Among them, titles such as 'Radio in Spain (1923-1995)' stand out; 'Television in Spain (1956-1994)'; 'Madrid: still lifes, inns and restaurants (1412-1990)', which won the National Gastronomy Award; 'Taverns, botillerias and cafes (1476-1991)', award from De Libros magazine and the Madrid Chamber of Commerce; 'Don Quixote's Kitchen'; and 'Lucio, story of an innkeeper'.
