Jamie Foxx reappears with "new projects" three months after being on the brink of death

Such and the good state in which many of his followers could see him taking a boat ride or bowling just a few days ago, none of them could have said that Jamie Foxx had just spent no less than three months fighting for his life.

The actor continues to recover favorably from the mysterious "medical complication" that led him to the ICU and has kept him admitted since April 12. An admission of which hardly any details are known, except that all kinds of medical tests were carried out on the actor, who had to be "resuscitated" at a given moment.

The Oscar winner for his performance as Ray Charles in Ray was discharged a month after his admission, being transferred to a new hospital center in Chicago, specializing in rehabilitation for cases of recovery from strokes, traumatic brain injuries, rehabilitation of spinal cord injuries and sequelae of all types of cancer.

A rehabilitation that seems to be going better than well, because the actor has reappeared on his networks, looking better than ever, and announcing new projects. On this occasion, Foxx dressed to the nines to celebrate his new job as the face of a major company in the world of sports betting, where he will star in ads during the football season.

A new publication that comes after the last time the actor gave signs of life on his social networks, where he wanted to thank all his followers for all the support and love they had sent him during all those hard weeks. In addition, he wanted to celebrate a small party in the rehabilitation center itself with his closest friends for his speedy recovery.

Just a few days ago, Foxx, 55, reappeared on the streets of Chicago looking good and remarkably recovered. At the moment, the origin of his condition and his sudden admission remain a true mystery that neither the actor nor his family have clarified in public, although everything indicates that it could have been a stroke caused by stress.

As his environment explained at the time, the actor's condition became "serious enough" to cause the worst to be feared. "He suffered a serious medical episode and required immediate attention. He had to be revived. He is very lucky to be alive," they explained, assuring that everyone was preparing "for the worst case scenario."

During all this time, his family has tried to bring his state of health back to normal, simply canceling his commitments in the near future -among them, his appearance on the set of the movie Back in Action, in which he shares the lead with Cameron Diaz and from which he had to leave precisely after suffering this medical complication.
