Israel bombs Gaza's largest refugee camp, killing at least 30

At least 30 people have been killed and dozens seriously injured in an Israeli bombardment against the Jabaliya camp in northern Gaza on Monday, according to Palestinian media outlets supporting Hamas.

It is the largest refugee camp in the Gaza Strip - with 116,000 residents - and has received numerous bombings since the start of Netanyahu's army offensive. The last one, on November 7, along with four other hospitals in Gaza City, causing eight deaths and damaging certain equipment, said the United Nations Humanitarian Aid Coordination Office (OCHA). Another bombing, a few days before, caused 145 deaths.

On the other hand. The Israeli government reported this Monday that several ground units, mostly tanks, have taken up positions at the gates of the main hospital in Gaza City, the main objective of the Israeli battle, and where doctors said in recent days that patients, including newborns, were dying from lack of fuel. Their objective would be to take control of the northern half of the Gaza Strip.

In this regard, Gaza Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf Al-Qidra, who was inside Al Shifa hospital at the time of the bombing, said that 32 patients had died in the last three days, including three newborn babies, as a result of the hospital siege and the lack of power.
