Interior opens disciplinary proceedings against several officials for the escape of 'el Pastilla'

The Ministry of the Interior has opened a disciplinary file that affects several officials due to the escape from the Alcalá Meco prison last December of the prisoner Yousef Mohamed Lehrech, alias 'el Pastilla'.

This has been reported by prison sources, who have not specified the number of people who could be affected by the file. However, there could be three officials on file, as confirmed by sources familiar with the case.

'El Pastilla' escaped on December 23 from the Alcalá Meco prison, where he was in provisional detention for two murders.

That day the inmate had had a conversation in the parlor with his relatives, on a day with a large influx of visitors given the Christmas season, which he took advantage of to escape.

Yousef Mohamed Lehrech had been classified as a FIES prisoner (File of inmates with special monitoring), that is, in the category of the most dangerous and requiring greater control.

However, according to what sources from the group of officials reported after his escape, he was in a youth respect module, where inmates agree to carry out a series of activities and maintain established standards of conduct.

'El Pastilla' was in provisional prison for allegedly murdering one of the considered drug lords of Ceuta, Nayim K.A., nicknamed 'Tayena', who on April 12, 2023 was shot in the chest in Los Barrios (Cádiz ).

Hours after the murder, the Civil Guard arrested 'el Pastilla' in the port of Algeciras as the alleged perpetrator of the crime.

The young man has two open proceedings: one for the death of 'Tayena', considered his boss, and another for the mistaken murder in Algeciras of a young man whom he supposedly confused with another person.
