The founders of Podemos Pablo Iglesias and Juan Carlos Monedero insisted yesterday, on television and social networks, that the rest of the forces in the space of change and Yolanda Díaz herself are indebted to Podemos, that it was the force that brought them to the Government and that it continues to be the hegemonic formation of the left.
In this sense, both claim Diaz "respect" for Podemos in the configuration of their Sumar platform. The former secretary general of Podemos, who says he gives his opinion as director of a podcast without organic positions, considers that, in light of the data on knowledge and sympathy of political brands from the CIS, Podemos is still the force that leads the space and therefore Therefore, it is not possible to conceive of an integration initiative that does not consider it that way.
From the direction of Podemos, neither the general secretary, Ione Belarra -on maternity leave-, nor its organization secretary, Lilith Verstrynge, have offered their opinion regarding the offensive launched this week by the founders and Sumar's attitude.
For her part, Vice President Yolanda Díaz, yesterday in Logroño, avoided a direct response to these exhortations.
