Ideas to wrap your Christmas gifts in an original way

On these special dates, when we buy something we are almost always offered the option of wrapping it as a gift in physical stores, or including a gift envelope when we buy online. However, there are people who prefer to wrap their Christmas gifts, either so that they all look the same aesthetic, or because they enjoy this ritual full of tradition and affection.

If you belong to this last group, chances are that every year you look for special ways to wrap gifts, so that the details surprise your recipients even before unwrapping the present itself. In this sense, creativity takes the reins by making eye-catching creations with the help of paper and other decorations that you can incorporate into the packages. Below, you will find five very original ideas to wrap your gifts this Christmas.

In this intricate wrapping you will create a small compartment in the package to insert a special detail, such as a letter or postcard, some holly or fir leaves, a candy cane, a chocolate bar... Cut out a sufficient portion of paper where there is enough left over the edges of the gift itself and then fold it with the procedure you see in the video, creating layers of paper on top of each other. Use tape to secure each layer of paper.

For this fun idea, place the gift on the paper first to measure how much you need and tape only the length of the paper. Remove the gift from the wrapping and fold it first in half and then the sides inward to cut the corners. Then you can put the gift back inside the paper, glue the ends and decorate the sides of your candy with bows.

This idea is very simple but also very beautiful. Wrap your gift normally and then tape it over the surface. Glue a piece of ribbon in a zigzag pattern, recreating a Christmas tree to decorate the wrapping.

With this proposal you will be crowned the most original “gifter.” Wrap the gift with plain paper and then with cellophane wrap. Before gluing the last end, put artificial snow inside and close the wrapping. Now, it may be convenient to open this gift outside or have the broom on hand...

Another simple but effective alternative. Wrap your gift with plain-colored paper and paint a letter soup on it in which you can highlight the recipient of the gift or a special message.
