Hussein and Rajwa from Jordan are now husband and wife

Rajwa Al Saif is already crown princess of Jordan after the religious ceremony in which the marriage contract that united her to Prince Hussein, eldest son of Kings Abdallah and Rania, was signed. The religious ceremony was held in the Zahran palace, where the parents of the crown prince were married in 1993, before 140 guests including, in addition to the Hashemite royal family, representatives of the European royal houses, including the kings Juan Carlos and Sofia.

The presence of European kings and princes, as well as the wife of the president of the United States, at the wedding of Prince Hussein, is not only a matter of courtesy but a geopolitical measure, with which Jordan receives, once again, the Western approval, as a key country and ally in the stability of the Middle East.

The bride, wearing a Western-style wedding dress, has arrived at the gazebo where the marriage certificate has been signed on the arm of the crown prince's younger brother, Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II, while his sister-in-laws Princesses Iman and Salma bint Abdullah They acted as bridesmaids.

During the ceremony, the bride and groom have signed the marriage contract before the court imam, Ahmed Al Khalaileh, and in the presence of their respective fathers, King Abdullah and wealthy Saudi builder Khalid bin Musaed bin Saif bin Abdulaziz Al- Saifal, who have acted as witnesses. The wedding ceremony has closed with the traditional Zaghrouta, the cry of joy from a group of women that is typical of Arab celebrations.

After the ceremony, the bride and groom received congratulations from those attending the wedding, before going out through the streets of Amman, mounted in a white convertible Land Rover and schooled by eight red Land Rovers, to be cheered on by the Jordanians, on the way to the Al Husseiniya palace, where the reception and banquet will take place, which, in addition to those invited to the religious ceremony, will be attended by more than 1,700 guests. During the banquet, where traditional Bedouin dishes will be served, local and regional singers, a choral group, Jordanian bands, the national orchestra and folk dance groups will perform.
