Holy Week in Nicaragua: processions prohibited

We are in Holy Week. There is a country in Latin America where processions are prohibited. That same country, dominated by a morbid duo of husband and wife, strips the nationality of bishops, priests and thinking citizens who oppose them. If they can, they banish them from returning to the country, and if they refuse to leave, they imprison them, accuse them of treason and sentence them to sentences of dozens of years. If they are old, they take away the pension they earned in a lifetime of work. They expropriate their property, confiscate their books and furniture, prevent them from seeing their children or their children from seeing them.

I could make an endless list of the abuses and opprobrium of this sick couple, Daniel and Rosario, but today, as it is the beginning of Holy Week, I prefer to focus on their infamous persecution against the Church that participated in the Sandinista revolution that deposed the dictator Somoza. , and today she is persecuted by a couple of tyrants who most resemble the Somoza family they overthrew. The priest and poet Ernesto Cardenal, architect of that revolution, was cornered and persecuted until his death. From the Jesuits, who helped depose that tyrant, the current despots expropriated the university that they had built for sixty years. They took away their nationality and exiled them.

I remember that the Polish Pope, John Paul I, scolded the priest and poet Cardinal for being a minister and for talking too much; Today the Argentine Pope, Francis, makes pacts with despots in a strange way. He got this sordid couple, Ortega and Murillo, to get two bishops and dozens of priests out of jail. He put them on two planes, one to the United States and the other to the Vatican. In exchange for the freedom of prelates and priests, the ignoble dictatorial couple obtained a promise from the Vatican: their silence. He releases them, denationalizes them and banishes them with one condition: that they cannot talk about Nicaragua. They cannot even say the obvious: that the morbid couple, Ortega and Murillo, are the most faithful allies of the tyrant Putin in Latin America.

What best explains why Nicaragua has become a hacienda, the family business of a couple of despots, is the following: while they banish, imprison or strip the best Nicaraguans of their nationality (or all three things together if you can ), they instead grant express nationality to an Italian heir expert in money laundering, Maurizio Carlo Alberto Gelli, and appoint him, one country after another, plenipotentiary ambassador of Nicaragua in: Spain, Principality of Andorra, Greece, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Your previous experience of him as a diplomat? None, he had a Mercedes Benz dealership in Arezzo. But he knew how to do something more important: he learned to recycle and launder his father's assets. And who was his father?

Well, although no one can be judged for what his father did, it is worth knowing that this Italian who has never lived in Nicaragua, this diplomatic representative of the sick couple, is the son of a famous banker, Licio Gelli, with the following criminal record abbreviated: he participated with the fascist black shirts in the Spanish Civil War and was personally decorated by Franco; he organized and financed the terrible Bologna massacre, a neo-fascist attack in which 85 people died in 1980; as “venerable master” of the P2 masonic lodge, he was convicted of the fraudulent bankruptcy of the Ambrosian Bank, in which fraud the IOR or Vatican Bank, its largest shareholder, was also involved; He is involved in the murder of his lodge member, Roberto Calvi, who was found hanged under a London bridge. Etc.

In short, the thinking bishops and priests of Nicaragua are stripped of their nationality and silenced. Bleaching experts are given nationality and employed at the highest international level. And yes: processions are prohibited.
