Historical temperature record in Valencia in January: 30.7 degrees in Calles and 30 in Gavarda

Today, the temperatures recorded in different parts of the Valencian Community have reached historical records since records were recorded in the month of January. The data is spectacular. For example, in Calles (the Els Serrans region) 30.7 degrees have been reached, and in Gavarda (Ribera Alta) 30 degrees. These data are the highest ever recorded in Europe in January, as reported by the Valencian Association of Meteorology, AVAMET.

There have been numerous Valencian towns that have exceeded 29 degrees, and even more those that have reached 28 degrees. These are data more typical of spring and even summer than winter.
