Gemma Cuervo could return to 'La que se cerca' after asking for a job: "Laura, call me"

Gemma Cuervo, at 87 years old, could be very close to reprising her iconic role as Mari Tere in La que se cerca. After several years of absence, the Catalan actress has expressed her interest in participating in the next installment of the fiction and this call to direct the series has been very well received.

The actress, who has an extensive career and had a memorable role in Here There Is No One Who Lives Like Vicenta, has used her social networks to be close to followers and express her desire to make "a small cameo" in La que se cerca. "Why not? Laura, call me, I'm Gemmita," Cuervo said in a message addressed to Laura Caballero, director and co-creator of the series with her brother Alberto Caballero.

Caballero has responded to the veteran actress's message with a warm invitation to participate whenever she wants: "Contubernio 49 has its doors completely open for you. We are already waiting for you." Therefore, it could be possible that the Barcelona interpreter is present in the fifteenth season, scheduled to begin filming in April 2024.

The response from the followers of The one that is coming has been unanimous. The possibility of seeing one of Spain's most beloved actresses again, reprising her role as Mari Tere, a nice old woman who went to Benidorm to find love, has been very well received.

This possible return to The one that is coming would be added to other returns announced for season 15, among them that of María Adánez as Rebeca Ortiz, an expert matrimonial lawyer who arrived in the seventh season and left in the ninth.

Gemma Cuervo is far from retired. The veteran actress has become a great influencer thanks to the content that she uploads to her social networks, where she has managed to gather a large number of followers in a short time. Recently, she used these channels to show her reunion with Nacho Guerreros and Vanesa Romero, with whom she shared, precisely, scenes in La que se cerca and Here there is no one who lives.

In addition, Cuervo also informed his followers that his family has grown thanks to a new kitten. The actress wanted users to help find the right name for the kitten: "I couldn't be happier. She is my new kitten and she doesn't have a name yet, can you help me?"
