From Mickey's swimsuit to Baywatch: the evolution of Ana Obregón's poses

Every year, summer did not officially open until Ana Obregón posed in her traditional bathing suit. She did it for a magazine and all the other media quickly echoed the news. On the seashore or in a turquoise pool, in Los Angeles or Marbella, Obregón personified the stereotypes of 1990s femininity.

His first pose was in 1985, when he was on the cover of Lecturas magazine. She posed practically without an iota of makeup and with her curly hair uncombed. A charismatic and natural beauty that she connected with Spanish society. In her first session, she appeared in a turquoise blue swimsuit with the image of Mickey, a design that had little to do with the swimsuits presented by the big fashion brands. Although that didn't matter.

His outfits evolved as the years went by and, paradoxically, they became more daring. He posed with a sequined bikini and in 1995 he photographed himself with a yellow balconette model - one of the trends that triumphed in that decade - matching his son's swimsuit, who was three years old at the time.

In 1999, she posed with a bikini with three-dimensional colored flowers, probably one of Obregón's most remembered, since she wore it again in 2001 and in 2004 in other shades.

In the 2000s he would go into fashion for trikinis, like the red one with ruffles that he wore with a cowboy-style hat or a white one that he finished off with a flowing tunic with Ibizan airs. A reflection of the aesthetic evolution of swimwear made in Spain.

In exchange for all these poses with which Ana Obregón declared the summer to be inaugurated, the paparazzi who followed her everywhere left her alone for the rest of her vacation.

In the last of them, last July 2022, the actress starred on the cover of 'Hola!' magazine with her traditional swimsuit photograph, an exclusive one that she donated to the foundation that bears her son's name and which fight against cancer.

In this last photograph, Obregón poses in a white bathing suit and with the matching necklace and bracelet with the name of Aless. He smiles, although a great sadness was perceived in his eyes. "What makes me sad is that I was so happy... and I didn't know it," he confessed in the interview. The one of this year 2023, for now, remains to be discovered.
