From 200 to 25,000 euros per program: these are the salaries of TVE presenters such as Jordi Hurtado or María Casado

From the 200 euros per program for the actress Carla Fernández who played 'Mapi' to the 25,000 for Julia Otero for 'Días de tele', going through the 8,000 euros per episode of 'Las tres puertas' that María Casado received or the 5,000 euros that Toñi Moreno charged for each broadcast of 'Plan de tarde'. The Público newspaper has announced this Wednesday, after requesting the information using the transparency law, how much 38 people who present or appear in different TVE programs earn, which are added to the salaries of another 15 presenters of the public channel already revealed a few months ago by the same medium.

On that occasion, the controversy broke out over the salary of Eva Soriano, who had received 11,000 euros for each broadcast of 'La noche D' and it was the highest salary among those published. However, the new information obtained by Público shows that at least four TVE presenters earn more than Soriano: Luján Argüelles, who charges 15,000 euros per 'Brigada Tech' program; Ana Morgade, who received 20,000 euros for delivery of the already canceled 'Let's get along well'; Juan y Medio, who also charged 20,000 euros for each 'Incredible Duos' gala; and the aforementioned Julia Otero, the best paid, with 25,000 euros for the broadcast of 'Días de tele'.

More salaries revealed this Wednesday are those of Carolina Iglesias, 5,000 euros for each program in which she co-hosts Otero, Xavier Sardà, who received 7,000 euros for each program of 'La gran confusión', and Marc Giró, who earns 2,500 euros for presenting and co-directing each broadcast of 'Latexou' on RTVE Catalunya.

Public radio and television, at first, wanted to hide the salaries of the presenters of their programs. The Transparency and Good Governance Council (CTBG) had to position itself so that RTVE ended up making it public. The body ruled that the information on these salaries paid with public money should be known.

On this occasion, Público also reveals what the presenter and the jury of 'Masters of Sewing' charge. In the last season of the format, Raquel Sánchez Silva received 7,200 euros per program. She surpassed Lorenzo Caprile, who charged 7,500 euros. The other two members of the jury, María Escoté and Alejandro Palomo, on the other hand, received 6,000 euros each.

Regarding programs on La 2, in 'Saber y ganar', Jordi Hurtado charges 700 euros for each program he presents, while Elisenda Roca, currently voice-over for the contest, receives 184 euros per episode. For his part, Eduardo Sáenz de Cabezón charged 3,000 euros for each issue of the space for scientific dissemination 'Órbita Laika'.

Publico also offers up-to-date information from RTVE on the salaries already revealed a few months ago. Thus, the three members of the 'MasterChef' jury (Jordi Cruz, Samantha Vallejo-Nágera and Pepe Rodríguez) continue to earn 10,000 euros each per program; Alaska, 4,000 euros per episode of 'Neighborhood cinema'; Anne Igartiburu, 1,550 euros for each program of 'Corazón', and Silvia Intxaurrondo, 700 euros for each program of 'La hora de La 1' that she presents, in addition to 6,000 euros per month as co-director. The salary that has changed is that of Santiago Segura, which has gone from 2,200 to 2,500 euros per episode of 'Journey to the center of television', a program to which he gives voice.

The information on these salaries has been known because they are presenters who are external personnel and who are paid directly by the producers of these formats that are later broadcast by TVE. The public corporation has agreed to reveal this information after the position of the Transparency Council but, on the other hand, it continues to refuse to deliver the same information about the presenters who have a contract directly as RTVE workers, such as the cases of Ana Blanco, Carlos Franganillo or Mark Sala.
