Frederique Constant turns 35 with a new caliber of its most emblematic watch

There may still be great connoisseurs of fine watchmaking who are unaware of it, because in the end, with only 35 years of history, it can be considered that Frederique Constant is still a newcomer to the industry. But in this period it has made it clear that it is a brand capable of making a difference thanks to a catalog that offers the difficult balance of quality and price that other manufacturers could not even consider.

Created in 1988 by Frederique Schreiner and Constant Stas (who did not dare to launch the first watch on the market until four years later, when they considered it simply perfect) little by little, Frederique Constant has become a key player in the best watchmaking Swiss Made. Caliber by caliber, it has imposed its philosophy of putting watchmaking luxury within the reach of almost every budget.

To its catalog of fascinating watches, such as its legendary best-selling Frederique Constant Classic Worldtimer Manufacture (an extraordinary world time), the Geneva firm is now adding its most recent launch: the Classic Power Reserve Big Date Manufacture, which adds the Frederique Constant caliber number 31 .

Developed in a 40 millimeter case, it is the first from the firm to incorporate a power reserve with an autonomy of 50 hours, large date and moon phase. A new success (and surely a future bestseller) that Frederique Constant celebrated along with her birthday on the last Saturday of August with a great event in Geneva, the world cradle of watchmaking.
