Four people arrested for a marijuana plantation in a luxury home in Madrid

Blow to the production of illegal marijuana in a luxury villa in Madrid. Together, the National Police and the Civil Guard have arrested four men from a family clan in a single-family home in the municipality of Villalbilla that had an orchard with more than 1,400 marijuana plants, as well as different compressed air weapons, a modified revolver to make live fire and cash.

The detainees are charged with crimes of belonging to a criminal group, against public health, illegal possession of weapons and fraud of electricity.

The investigation began last April thanks to citizen collaboration. After the investigations carried out, the investigators were able to verify that the same people always accessed the aforementioned house, with a clear distribution of functions, since each one had a specific task.

It was verified how inside it, a man constantly remained with surveillance functions, in charge of solving any incident that could occur, as well as protecting the plantation. In addition, it was possible to verify that the electrical installation of the house presented irregularities and they obtained electrical fluid illegally.

After the registration carried out, nearly 1,400 marijuana plants, the necessary tools for the cultivation of the plantation and cash have been intervened. In addition, several weapons were located and seized at this home, such as several pistols and a revolver, presumably modified to fire live ammunition, three 22-caliber rifles, two shotguns, and two machetes.

It should be noted that the weapons were located at strategic points in the house, coinciding with windows and access points to it, probably in order to be able to repel any aggression or intrusion into it.

Those arrested are accused of the crimes of belonging to a criminal group, against public health, illegal possession of weapons and fraud of electricity, for which they were brought to justice.
