Four of the six arrested for the deadly shooting in Tarragona are sent to prison

A judge has sent four of the six arrested for the shooting last Tuesday in Tarragona to prison, which left one dead and two wounded, and has ordered the periodic appearance in court of the other two arrested.

As reported by the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC), the six detainees appeared today before the investigating court 5 of Tarragona, on guard duty, which has agreed to provisional imprisonment without bail for four of them and provisional release for two others, with the obligation to appear periodically in court.

The case, which corresponds to the investigating court number 4 of Tarragona, is being pursued for a crime of completed homicide for three of those involved and attempted homicide for the six, as well as illicit possession of weapons and riotous fighting.

In the shooting, caused by a confrontation between two family groups, a man in his 50s was killed and two other people were injured, although there are no fears for their lives.

During the operation, the Mossos intercepted two firearms, one short and one long.
