Covid infections have increased by 83% in the last week to reach 247.3 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the Valencian Community compared to 135.1 the previous week, while the flu has increased by 183.47% up to 142.3 cases compared to 50.2 seven days ago. In this way, the incidence of ARI as a whole amounts to 1,329.5 cases - 19.08% more than the last bulletin - which represents almost doubling the national rate, which stands at 523.4 cases. The most affected age group is 0 to 4 years old with an incidence of 4,975.3 cases, followed at a distance by 5 to 14 years old, which is found in about 2,000 cases.

For its part, the incidence of serious respiratory infections in hospitals in the Valencian Community has grown by 23.84% in the last week to 21.3 cases compared to 17.2 seven days ago, two points above the national average.

Specifically, the average age of those affected by covid is 77 years, with a percentage of ICU admissions of 7.3%, an average stay in critical care of three days and an average hospitalization stay of six days, while that the fatality percentage is 4.9%.

For its part, the average age of those affected by flu is lowered to 71 years, but the percentage of ICU admissions increases to 11.1%, with an average stay of those admitted to critical care of five days and an average hospitalization stay. of two days, while the fatality percentage is 11.1%.

Finally, the average age of those affected by RSV is one year with a percentage of ICU admissions at 7.1%, with an average stay in critical care of 3.5 days and an average hospitalization stay of 3 days. while the fatality percentage is 7.1%.
