Feijóo considers the investiture of Sánchez to change the amnesty of "the mayor since Franco"

The leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has accused the Government of undertaking "the biggest cacicada since Franco's dictatorship" over the Amnesty law. In an interview in Herrera en Cope, Feijóo also pointed out that "in this country there is no longer a Frankenstein government, there is a zombie government."

The popular president has charged against the Sánchez Government, ensuring that the Amnesty law that the Executive has proposed with the support of the pro-independence parties represents "a cacicada" and has assured that they will prepare the unconstitutionality appeal "once Congress approves the law".

The Popular Party has an absolute majority in the Senate, where they modified the regulations to be able to decide whether to slow down a law that comes from Congress. In the case of the amnesty law, the PSOE processed the norm as a bill as it was the fastest way to approve it, but with the change in regulations in the Upper House, senators can extend the deadline up to two months. This has been confirmed by Feijóo, who has assured that they will call magistrates and act "with rigor in the rule of law."

According to Feijóo, the Amnesty law "has made us kneel before those who have failed to comply with the Constitution", and he has criticized that this law has "activated the independentists and has proven them right."

As he did yesterday at a rally in Getxo with the candidate for lehendakari, Javier de Andrés, Feijóo has reiterated "that there has never been a cacicada like this in democracy." The popular leader has justified this by ensuring that "politicians wanted by justice write the penal code and decide who is the president."

Regarding the debate that was held yesterday in the Senate about the amnesty in which several regional presidents participated, Feijóo assured that the president of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonès, "has directly mocked the Government." "The surprising thing would have been if it didn't take the headline," he added.

Furthermore, the former president of the Xunta has sensed that the PSC "will make Aragonès vice president of the Generalitat", and has commented that "no one believes the PSOE anymore."

The popular leader has also commented on the investigative commission that will be carried out in the Senate for the Koldo case and whether or not they are considering summoning Sánchez and his wife. "We have requested the appearance of people and companies that have emerged directly or indirectly from what we know about the summary," commented Feijóo.

The former Galician president has asked the President of the Government to give explanations "because he has half the Government involved", and has not ruled out "that the President gives information in parliamentary headquarters". "As for his wife, I wouldn't like to quote her, but it is the president who must avoid it," Feijóo added.

Finally, Feijóo has been very critical of the Koldo case, ensuring that "this case looks very bad, it affects six Government ministers and unfortunately it also affects the family environment of the President of the Government."
