Enríquez Negreira demanded money from Barça in another burofax where he alludes to "favors rendered"

As the days go by, the Negreira case grows with new information, the last one, explained by El Mundo, uncovers a second burofax from José María Enríquez Negreira addressed to Barça in December 2018 where he requests to continue providing his services alluding to "so many favors rendered " and "shared confidences".

The former referee and former vice president of the Technical Committee of Referees between 1994 and May 2018, when his business relationship with the Barcelona club ended, states in a letter that he has been "providing technical advisory services at the request of the presidents, Mr. Laporta, since 2003 , Mr. Rosell and Mr. Bartomeu, agreeing on the fees for each presidential term".

Barça would have paid a total of seven million euros since 2001 for alleged arbitration reports to the Dasnil 95 company, owned by Enríquez Negreira and his son, Javier Enríquez Romero, who also offered coaching services to referees and worked between 2004 and 2015 for the Royal Spanish Football Federation.

As he explains in the burofax, Enríquez Negreria had to "adapt his society to the needs" of the blaugrana entity, "hiring personnel and training them for the strict needs of the club", which required him "to work exclusively in such a way and manner that can provide services to third parties.

"From the beginning until now, the truth is that the relationship has been more than good and by working so closely with the presidency, the trust and confidence that my client has enjoyed, throughout all these years it has been notorious, many times transgressing the confidences and favors from the professional to the personal", continues his message.

For all this, Enríquez Negreira shows his "firm conviction in the good redirection of the relationship maintained" all these years with Barça "in one way or another". Finally, it concludes that "otherwise", if the Barcelona entity does not rectify and continues to do without its services, "the attitude of the Barcelona Football Club and especially that of Mr. Bartomeu will be incomprehensible", "which would cause deep disappointment after so many years of relationship, after so many favors rendered, after so many shared confidences".

This statement from the former vice president of the CTA is the second burofax addressed to the club that has come to light. The first message, sent in 2019 and also threatened Barça for ceasing to have their services, explained that "if there is no agreement, all the irregularities will come out."
