On October 10, the Mossos d'Esquadra dismantled a plantation of 3,800 marijuana plants in Riudecols (Tarragona).
The agents were able to arrest three men between 27 and 57 years old in the same place, accused of an alleged crime of drug trafficking and membership in a criminal group.
The plantation was located on rural land, in a difficult-to-access area that can only be accessed on foot or by air. In that space, the trees had been cut down to plant marijuana, distributed in eleven terraces, and which was in the expansion phase.
At the same time, the agents found a facility with the necessary elements for cultivation and a pond of water.
At the top of the plantation, the police located two men inside a construction, who were detained. While they were making arrangements, a third man arrived driving an all-terrain vehicle with a tanker trailer full of water. The Mossos also detained him.
