In The Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia we discover two of the most charming corners of the Sant Narcís district of Girona: Plaça de l'Assumpció and the interior of the Civic Centre.

According to the Catalunya Film Commission, "Sant Narcís is one of the neighborhoods with the most personality in the city of Girona, due to its quiet atmosphere and its unique architecture, based on white houses with Arabic tile roofs and independent gardens."

Built in the 1950s, the neighborhood revolves around Plaça de l'Assumpció, a porticoed plaza with a rectangular structure, following the style of Mediterranean plazas.

In recent years it has become a meeting space for artists and creators who have their workshops and art galleries located under the vaults.

The bell tower of the parish church of Sant Narcís stands out, a square tower that externally combines the visible work with white plaster.

Regarding the Center Cívic Sant Narcís, the City Council details that it is "a municipal facility fully consolidated in the neighborhood and with an outstanding projection towards the rest of the city thanks to its location, the diversity of spaces available and an extensive and varied programming, increasingly promoted through social and cultural initiatives.

We found a lot of participation in the casales or esplais, as well as in other activities organized by neighborhood groups and associations.
