Crèdit Andorrà, recognized as Andorran Bank of the Year by the Financial Times group

Crèdit Andorrà maintains its privileged position in the Andorran banking scene. The country's leading bank has been recognized as Andorra's Bank of the Year by The Banker, a leading publication in the international financial sector belonging to the Financial Times group. This recognition adds to what the entity already obtained at the beginning of November, when The Bankery Professional Wealth Management (PWM) magazines, from the same publishing group, named it Best Private Bank in Andorra 2022.

The Banker annually rewards the best entities in the sector, based on good business development, innovation, added value to the customer and leadership in society. For the organization, the award is "witness to the solidity of the management carried out, the strength of the business model and the prudent risk management policy".

Xavier Cornella, CEO of the Crèdit Andorrà Group, highlighted that "this award places us among the best entities in the sector internationally, and is a new and well-deserved recognition of the effort and commitment of the professionals in our group to consolidate the bank as a leader of the sector in the square”. Cornella has remarked that "this award encourages us to continue working to offer the best service to our clients, and to contribute to the development of our shareholders, clients, employees and the country".

The recognition highlights the bank's growth strategy through the formalization of corporate operations, support for the country's progress through strategic alliances, and the promotion of digital transformation, entrepreneurship, and specialization in products and services as ways to improve added value for the customer.

The Banker has assessed the actions carried out by the bank, such as the integration of Vall Banc into Crèdit Andorrà and the acquisition of the GBS Finance family office business in Spain, the main operations to boost growth. At the country level, participation in the constitution of SETAP 365 has been taken into account with the aim of promoting the unification of the snow sector in favor of competitiveness and progress.

Another notable factor, in the insurance sector, is the extension of the agreement with Caser Seguros for non-life insurance, a strategic alliance to increase added value to the customer.

The award also took into account the bank's leadership in Andorra and the consolidation of the international business in Spain, Luxembourg and Miami. The unification of the brand under the name Creand has contributed to strengthening the global private banking business, generating synergies and greater group cohesion. The award has also highlighted the way to promote new digital models and the commitment to sustainability.
