Conte and Tuchel, a shameful row

In a derby they can jump, and sparks fly. They are hot games in which anything can happen. But what happened at Stamford Bridge, with the managers of Chelsea and Tottenham involved, can only be described as shameful. In a high-voltage match, Thomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte gave a lesson on how not to behave on the bench. Anything but exemplary. The match ended 2-2 after a goal in the 96th minute by Harry Kane for Spurs, but before and after this goal on the wire the coaches played their own game, as if it were two fighting cocks. They clashed twice and after the final whistle both saw the red card. A just punishment.

On the one hand, the Italian Conte, a passionate coach and former Chelsea coach. In the other Tuchel, which is not exactly cold either. One of the most rival London derbies was taking place, along with Arsenal-Tottenham and Arsenal-Chelsea, and the match brought them.

On the way to the break, Tuchel went to the edge of his rival's technical area, clapping loudly and looking for Conte with his eyes. But the most embarrassing was yet to come. Koulibaly had advanced to Chelsea in the first half but in minute 68 Hojbjerg leveled, with controversy. Due to a possible previous foul and because Richarlison was in a positional offside position, in the trajectory of the ball. Conte ran to celebrate towards the Tuchel area, who went the other way to protest. In such a way that they collided with the chest and a first great tumult was already armed in the bands. As a result of this action, both technicians already saw the yellow card.

The match continued in a vibrant way and Chelsea went ahead again with a goal from James (77). An explosion of euphoria from Tuchel, who starred in a career that had not been seen at the Bridge since Guardiola celebrated Iniesta's miraculous goal in 2009.

The last chapter was left. He equalized Kane in the 96th minute on a corner kick shortly after another corner kicked Cucurella's hair pulled by Romero. Neither the referee pointed it out nor did the VAR intervene. He therefore came hot Tuchel. The German and the Italian shook hands but then Tuchel did not let go when he interpreted that Conte was despising him. "Look me in the eye," the Chelsea man told the Tottenham man. The transalpine was emboldened and a huge scrum was formed again. Expelled and we will have to see how the Premier sanctions them.

“I think when you shake hands you look the other person in the eye. He has a different opinion, but it is as if two players were fighting on the field and neither was injured. We fight for our teams”, said Tuchel. “If I see aggressiveness, I respond aggressively. The referee expelled me because he did not understand the dynamics of what happened but nothing happens. I accept it”, answered Conte. And so hot.
