The public corporation plans to decide this Wednesday, March 27, on the proposal to hire La Resistencia for two years, a contract that would be broken if after the first year the show has not reached an average of 7.5% quota. screen.
It should be noted that the Board of Directors of Spanish Radio Television (RTVE) is experiencing a moment of great tension, since its last meeting (which began yesterday at 9:30 in the morning and ended at 6:30 p.m.) ended with the dismissal of its interim president, Elena Sánchez, and the content director of the public entity, José Pablo López.
While López worked for months on hiring the successful Movistar Plus talk show to face communication giants such as Pablo Motos, Gran Wyogming or Carlos Sobera, Sánchez was more reluctant to accept said signing during the process. due to different issues, among which the possible breakdown of RTVE's salary balance stands out.
As has been learned, it was the interim president who decided to change the agenda and propose the dismissal of López. The result of said vote was 6 votes in favor, one against (José Manuel Martín Medem, from the PCE and now integrated into Sumar) and one abstention (Juan José Baños, councilor proposed by the PNV).
