Borràs qualifies as "genuflexive" in the Parliament of Catalonia

The Parliament of Catalonia is a "genuflexa" chamber according to the description given this morning by the former president of the Parliament, Laura Borràs, who, just yesterday, was definitively left out of the institution after it was agreed to definitively withdraw her act as deputy.

Borràs, in an interview with Catalunya Ràdio, has accused the members of the Bureau that made this agreement of having applied "proactive repression" becoming, he said, "actors of repression".

Borràs considers that her conviction for splitting contracts when she was president of a public body, the Institució de les Lletres Catalanes, is a consequence of the "repressive strategy" of the Spanish government and blames the members of the Parliamentary Committee, who yesterday voted to expel her from the Chamber, had she folded.

The ex-president since yesterday has considered that the deputy who will occupy her seat, the leader of Democrats of Catalonia, Antoni Castellà, could be a "magnificent president of Parliament". However, Borràs assures that Junts per Catalunya has not yet decided who will be his replacement and that he has not even begun to debate the issue.

However, other Junts sources assure that the decision is already very advanced and place Anna Erra, Aurora Madaula or Marta Madrenas as candidates to replace Borràs.
