Borràs greets the protesters at the doors of the Parliament before its suspension

Laura Borràs, just before the meeting of the Parlament Board that addresses her suspension as deputy and maximum leader of the institution, greeted the more than 200 demonstrators who have gathered at the gates of the institution, in the Parc de la Ciutadella of Barcelona, to give him support.

The pro-independence leader has met with the Junts per Catalunya parliamentary group as well as with various members of the executive and ministers of the Government of her party who have approached the Parlament. Right after, accompanied by the nucleus of her closest to her, she went out to the park to greet the protesters, who have been whistling at pro-independence leaders from other parties and cheering those of JxCat.

Among those who have given support to Borràs on a day like today was the former president of the Generalitat, Quim Torra, who in an appearance inside the Chamber has subsequently suggested that Junts should leave the Government of Pere Aragonès if Borràs is suspended, although he didn't want to be explicit.
