Bescanó celebrates this Sunday the 26th edition of the Fira de l'Embotit, protagonist of this photographic report in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia. As can be seen in the images, it is more than a sampler of elaborated food products, but also a meeting point of traditions, popular culture and a lot of joy.
The fair is a showcase of artisan food products, which can be tasted and bought. But, also, we can see puntaires, the sardanas, the carcavila with the Colla Gegantera or even taste the popular chocolatada.
This fair dates back to 1996, when this town in Gironès decided to promote this food fair, which is usually held on the Sunday before Ramos. You can find sausages of all kinds.
In addition, exhibitions and meetings are organized to energize the fair with a variety of activities for all audiences, also for girls and boys.
The tasting of the products is a great opportunity to try the wide variety of sausages produced in Catalonia.
