Despite less than a quarter of the season having been played, only two teams in Europe's major leagues remain undefeated. Xavi Hernández's Barça and Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen are the only ones that can boast of not having suffered a defeat in either domestic or European competitions.
The Barça team has so far accumulated six wins and two draws in LaLiga EA Sports, figures that do not help it to be the leader of the competition, because although Real Madrid lost at the Metropolitan stadium against Atlético, Barça has conceded three draws. In addition, they have added two wins in the Champions League, where they can boast of being the highest scoring team in the competition, with six goals, and one of the four that has won their two games along with Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Real Madrid.
Along with the Blaugrana, the other undefeated team is the big surprise of the season in Germany, Xabi Alonso's Bayer, who has only conceded one draw, against Bayern Munich, in seven games played. Those from North Rhineland are leaders of the Bundesliga with 18 points and have also won their two Europa League games.
Liverpool, Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid, Juventus, Inter and Milan are some of those who have only lost one game in their respective leagues. For its part, Arsenal has not fallen in the Premier, but it has fallen in the Champions League, against Lens (2-1). Tottenham don't know what it's like to lose in their league either, although they stopped being undefeated after being eliminated on penalties in the Carabao Cup against Fulham.
