Barcelona seen from Turó de l'Home

If you had wondered what Barcelona looks like from Turó de l'Home, more than 80 km away, in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia you can check it out in this photographic report from Montseny.

From this peak, on a clear day, you can see not only the Collserola mountain range, but emblematic buildings of Barcelona, such as Barcelona, the Sagrada Familia, the Hotel Vela or the two Olympic towers, as well as Tibidabo. Even further away, you can make out the control tower of El Prat airport.

Turó de l'Home is the highest mountain of the Montseny massif, with a height of 1712 meters, above the summits of Les Agudes and El Matagalls.

El Montseny is one of the busiest and most popular natural parks, largely due to its proximity to the Barcelona area. The pronounced reliefs that it presents and the rich ecological variety stand out. For this reason, in 1978 Unesco declared it a biosphere reserve.

This place takes us to the Catalan Prelittoral Cordillera, between the counties of Osona, Vallès Oriental and La Selva. In spring we can see the green of its leafy forests shine, even in these times of drought.
