Barcelona hosts Steve Aoki at Wedj's and female protagonism at Mas i Mas

Steve Aoki returns to Barcelona to fill the Wedj's festival with rhythm and dance, which brings together the fans in the Opium room every Wednesday (from two in the morning) with some of the most outstanding DJs.

The American DJ and producer returns to Barcelona today – who was scheduled to play at Amnesia Ibiza last night – because his successful time at Oh My Goal!, the musical event sponsored by LaLiga at the RCD Espanyol stadium at the beginning of the last June and where Ana Mena, Juan Magán, Bizarrap or Rauw Alejandro also performed.

Aoki is a regular on the international circuit, including the Spanish one, and in his sessions now he includes the already advanced songs from his next album Hiroquest, which will be released in mid-September. In his own words, "it's going to be the first of his genre in all of music." For the DJ, this means that he incorporates alternative or rock sounds to the well-known Latin, hip hop and, above all, electronic sounds.

The musical offer of the city does not end on the shores of the Mediterranean but spreads through other and diverse spaces. Like the one in the Jamboree room, epicenter of the Mas i Mas Festival, that is to say, of the great musical gathering of August in Barcelona. Its lineup combines jazz from different ranges, electronica, blues, soul, r'n'b and much more.
