The police have arrested at least two people in the joint operation carried out this Wednesday in the Tarragona district against a criminal group investigated for drug trafficking, currency counterfeiting, possession of firearms and membership in an organized group.
This is a joint operation between the Mossos d'Esquadra and the Civil Guard.
According to reports, there are 150 troops deployed and entries and searches are being made in several municipalities in the district, including Morell (where the two detainees were made), Reus, Móra la Nova and Mont-roig del Camp. An entry is also being made in Prat de Llobregat (Baix Llobregat). In Morell, the agents searched the vehicles of the two detainees with the canine unit.
