Agents of the Malaga Local Police have arrested a 38-year-old man as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of gender violence with aggression, damage, against road safety for driving without a license due to loss of points, under the influence of alcohol and/or or drugs and refusal to submit to tests, in addition to serious threats to law enforcement agents.

The events took place around 12:45 a.m. from Saturday to Sunday, January 28, on Oscar Esplá Street. The man was driving a vehicle with his partner sitting in the passenger seat when, apparently, at one point, he began to hit him, breaking the interior rearview mirror and the front window, after which he allegedly hit the victim. , whom he took out of the car, throwing her to the ground and kicking her.

Upon realizing the events, some young people approached the place to mediate, which made the individual leave, the Local Police indicated in a statement.

Thus, moments later, the same witnesses called on a team of local police patrolling in the vicinity, the officers approached the scene and interviewed the victim, verifying that she showed signs of having been attacked.

Members of the Investigation and Protection Group (GIP) of the Malaga Local Police, who provide their civilian service and are specialized in protecting victims of gender violence, approached the scene to take charge of the victim, accompanying her. to a health center to be treated, after which they left her at her home, expressing their intention to file a complaint about the events.

Meanwhile, the alleged aggressor was located sitting on a curb between two cars, and the local police officers proceeded to arrest him and verified that he had obvious symptoms of being under the influence of alcoholic beverages and/or drugs, so they transferred him to the police department. Accident and Traffic Investigation Group (GIAA) of the Malaga Local Police, during which he did not stop seriously threatening the officers involved, even hitting and causing damage to the interior of the police vehicle.

Once at the aforementioned facilities, the local police officers verified that the individual did not have a valid driving license due to loss of points. In addition, he refused to take the breathalyzer test, requiring the presence of a health service to calm him down, after which he could be safely transferred to police stations while waiting to finally be brought to justice.
