Mossos d'Esquadra from the Santa Coloma de Gramanet (Barcelonès Nord) police station arrested a 35-year-old man on 3 September who had stolen two mobile phones.
At around 5:45 p.m., the agents received a notice that a man had entered a commercial establishment in Santa Coloma de Gramanet and had stolen a mobile phone and 140 euros in cash.
Thanks to the images from the establishment's security cameras, the agents were able to see how he was dressed and, about two hours later, they located him about 500 meters from the establishment. When they searched him, they found two mobile phones, one of which was the one he had stolen hours before. Hence they arrested him.
When they took him to the doctor for a visit, the workers there at the time informed the police that the detainee had visited himself in the morning and had stolen a mobile phone, which turned out to be the second phone they found in the search. .
On September 5, he was brought to justice before the Investigating Court acting as guard of Santa Coloma de Gramenet.
