The Tax Agency is investigating a well-known YouTuber who has lived in Andorra for about 10 years. He is Willyrex, considered one of the best streamers, and has two YouTube channels where he has more than 35 million subscribers. As reported by El Periódico de España, the Treasury has temporarily seized two luxury apartments and a premises that he has in Barcelona while it inspects his tax debts.

Specifically, since October 2022, Willyrex cannot dispose of the two properties it owns in Pedralbes and Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, as well as the stake it has in a premises also in Sarrià.

As reported by the Spanish media in its investigation, it contacted Guillermo Díaz Ibáñez - Willyrex's real name - but he has denied through his lawyers that "the information is correct", without giving more details of what points are involved. evil.

If the Treasury has seized the properties in Barcelona, ​​that means that Willyrex can live there, but in no case can he sell, rent or put them in the name of another person. This will remain the case until he pays his debts or until the YouTuber files and wins an appeal.

A few days ago, all the spotlight fell on another well-known person installed in Andorra to avoid paying taxes in the Spanish state. They accused TheGrefg, one of the content creators with the most followers on Twitch, of trying to kick a grandmother out of the building where he lives in Escaldas.

According to the digital Altaveu, the company that manages the home, owned by TheGrefg, wants to renovate the entire building and cannot do it until she leaves. Furthermore, the media claimed that the company had even taken out all the windows of the building except the one in the woman's home.

Hours later, the YouTuber defended himself against the accusations. In a statement, TheGrefg assured that he was not the administrator of the company and that the grandmother, who, according to him, had not paid the rent for years; She no longer lives in the apartment.

El Rubius, the most popular YouTuber in the Spanish state, has not been spared from controversy and tax problems either. Three appeals that he has presented for Treasury claims, three defeats in court.

Up to three times the Superior Court of Justice of Madrid (TSJM) has ruled in favor in the Regional Economic-Administrative Court (TEAR) for the settlements and sanctions imposed on El Rubius for the activities of 2013 and 2014. In total, the Treasury claimed 136,000 euros.
