An icon of 90s television signs for TVE's new dance talent

The beginning of the year brings new television premieres and it seems that the bets are mainly focused on dance contests. At least that is what Telecinco and TVE are doing, since they are immersed in their own talents on this topic with famous contestants. In fact, we already know even their names about some of them.

Regarding Dance as you can, the talent of the public channel, we already know that Fabiola Martínez, ex-wife of Bertín Osborne, will be one of its members. And, as if it were something retro, El Televisero advances in the last few hours the return to the screen of an icon from the 90s, who swept the screen with his explosive performance during a New Year's Eve on TVE. Can you guess his name?

Dance as you can, TVE's new format, recovers the spirit of ¡Mira qué baila!, broadcast by the public channel in the 2000s, will once again feature Anne Igartiburu as master of ceremonies, as happened in its predecessor.

Among the names that resonate to be part of the program, so far those of Fabiola Martínez, ex-wife of Bertín Osborne, or the recent signing of Mañaneros, Lydia Lozano, have emerged. The former collaborator of Sálvame currently participates in Jaime Cantizano's morning show and is running as one of the private talent's star signings.

However, in the last few hours the name of another contestant has overshadowed these two television heavyweights. As El Televisero assures, TVE would be finalizing the signing of an Italian sex-symbol, who rose to fame thanks to her explosive performance on TVE's New Year's Eve of 1987 while she sang Hot Girls.

In case you still don't remember... That catchy chorus of Boys, Boys, Boys and his particular choreography where he couldn't stop jumping and pulling up his top to prevent his chest from popping out, made that Christmas memorable for life. We are talking, of course, about Sabrina Salerno.

After her scantily clad performance with one breast out, the TVE switchboard collapsed due to the avalanche of calls from viewers who had realized what had happened. And the program's director, Pilar Miró, decided to hype up Sabrina's boob and divide the screen in two to show a normal sequence and another in slow motion.

That made television history and Sabrina rose to stardom. Now, three decades later, the Italian singer will return as a dance contestant to face some well-known Spanish celebrities.
