The natural splendor of the views in Bellmunt

I am sharing this photograph of the dawn in the sanctuary of Bellmunt, in Sant Pere de Torelló, in the region of Osona, in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia.

The image captures the sunrise on the mountain, a moment that represents an opportunity to contemplate the greatness of nature in its maximum splendor.

The sanctuary is located at the top of the Bellmunt mountain range, at 1246 meters above sea level. This point is an excellent observation point, as seen in the photograph.

This mountain range, oriented from east to west, belongs to the first foothills of the Catalan Pre-Pyrenees and from its summits you can see the Plana de Vic, to the south, and a series of mountain ranges that culminate to the north with the Rasos de Peguera massif, the Sierra del Cadí and the peaks of Pedraforca and Puigmal.

The sanctuary can be accessed from Sant Pere de Torelló via a paved road. Over the years, the Bellmunt sanctuary suffered several desecrations (1822, 1835 and 1936) and various damage caused by inclement weather, until in 1982 the Barcelona Provincial Council undertook the reforms that have given rise to the current sanctuary, hostel and restaurant.
