An emotional Anne Igartiburu opens her mouth in her farewell to 'Corazón'

Presenter Anne Igartiburu has closed a chapter in her career that has marked her for 27 years: her participation in the social chronicle program Corazón, on TVE. At 54 years old, the Biscayan, whose achievements include an Ondas, two Golden Antennas and a Golden Microphone, shared an emotional message on Instagram to say goodbye to this project that became an essential part of her life. .

"27 years ago - I was 27 in studio 7 - a program called Corazón began. Millions of news, millions of viewers, millions of anecdotes that have happened in this time, and I say goodbye to a stage of my life to begin a new one, called D corazón. And I want to thank everyone who has accompanied us," Igartiburu expressed through a video published on his Instagram account.

In the video, which also contains a carousel of photographs that summarize his career in the program, he fondly remembered the moments lived in the social chronicle space. "A new stage begins and we leave behind experiences to remember for a lifetime; historical events and hours, days, years, decades of close and live information," Igartiburu wrote in said publication.

"8,000 shows later, we're still united. We're still looking at each other and saying 'go for it'. Thank you team, you know what I think and feel. You know it. Because for better and for worse, I'm transparent. And you've always known what I think and feel "And you know that I feel lucky. Let's continue, okay? What's next? Come on! Let it not be for us! We have always been known for doing it well, and in an excellent way. Let's shine! I love you very much." , said the presenter.

The farewell to Corazón occurs due to the change in the structure of the program, which will now have two presenters, Jordi González being one of them. Despite some speculation about possible disagreements with the new dynamics, both presenters demonstrated good harmony in the presentation held in Madrid.

The space will have well-known faces from Mediaset as collaborators: Alba Carrillo, the former Sálvame reporter Omar Suárez and the former Cámbiame judges Pelayo Díaz and Paloma González.
