The local police in Blanes (Girona) arrested the alleged perpetrator of a rape that occurred the day before on June 27, after the victim's mother identified him on the street, according to the City Council on Tuesday. The detainee was placed at the disposal of the Mossos de'Esquadra and the judge, who has ordered his admission to prison.
One day after filing the complaint, the victim's mother saw the alleged perpetrator on the street, a moment that she took advantage of to take some photographs and record a video in order to identify him.
The mother handed over the photographs and the video to a Blanes police patrol, informed them of the place where she had seen him and the direction in which he was walking, and described the clothes he was wearing.
The patrols that were on duty began the search until they could find and arrest the suspect to make him available to the Mossos d'Esquadra and the judge, who has ordered his admission to prison.
