Agents from the Traffic Group of the Civil Guard have located a high-end vehicle in the municipality of Valdemoro that was traveling at 230 kilometers per hour on a section of the M-423 highway with a maximum speed limited to 110 kilometers per hour.
The vehicle was detected around 1:40 p.m. on November 17 as part of the speed surveillance devices that are routinely and randomly carried out on the secondary road network of the Community of Madrid.
After locating this high-end car, the Traffic police proceeded to stop it. The driver, a 43-year-old man with a police record for fraud crimes, has been investigated as the alleged perpetrator of an alleged crime against Road Safety contemplated in article 379 of the Penal Code.
It contemplates prison sentences of 6 to 12 months or work for the benefit of the community of 31 days, in addition to deprivation of the right to drive motor vehicles and mopeds for a period of more than one and up to 4 years, in case of exceeding the maximum speed allowed on the road by 80 kilometers per hour. In this case, it was 130 kilometers per hour.
