A 29-year-old soccer coach from Dos Hermanas, in Seville, is free on charges after being arrested by the National Police for allegedly abusing at least nine children.

As reported by the National Police in a statement, last week they arrested the subject J.A.T., of Bolivian nationality, accused of abusing about nine children after complaints from several parents in the Montequinto neighborhood, where the coach, who also worked for the team from this neighborhood.

The Investigative Court number 4 of Dos Hermanas, in charge of the case, after releasing him with charges, imposed a restraining order on three of the minors and a prohibition on engaging in any activity related to children.

The police action was carried out by the Family and Care for Women Unit (UFAM) of the local Dos Hermanas police station, and took place on January 19 after complaints filed by the parents of the minors, coinciding that these families reside in the same neighborhood of the now detained man.

The investigation remains open and the appearance of new victims is not ruled out, according to the National Police.
