The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested a resident of Vilanova y la Geltrú (Garraf) who barricaded himself at home with a firearm for a crime of threats and one of public disorder. It was advanced by El Caso and confirmed by police sources.
The events occurred at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday when the local police were removing the man's car with a tow truck and he saw it from his property.
The arrested man went out onto the balcony with a firearm and threatened the municipal agents who alerted the Mossos. Members of the Special Intervention Group (GEI) traveled to the site. Finally, the man voluntarily turned himself in, but during his performance his dog, which was a dangerous breed, attacked one of the agents in the hand.
Police did not confirm whether the firearm used by the detainee was real or simulated. The man will go to court in the next few hours. His mother has taken custody of the animal.
