A man searching for asparagus finds a human skull near Can Ruti

A man who was looking for wild asparagus in one of the wooded paths surrounding the Can Ruti hospital in Badalona stumbled upon a skull this Thursday. The information, advanced by Tot Badalona, has been confirmed by the Mossos d'Esquadra, who this Friday will resume the search work for the rest of the body.

The discovery occurred at twelve-thirty noon, more or less. The man called 112 and a patrol from the Mossos d'Esquadra of Badalona, and workers from the funeral home, went to the place first and took the remains to the Institute of Legal Medicine of Catalonia, where the forensic experts will try to gather some information that will help. to the identification of the person.

At first glance, the skull did not present any type of trauma compatible with death. And due to his condition, he should not have been in the area for more than two weeks. The police alerted the judge on duty and, at the moment, the police are waiting for any more information that the forensic experts can provide to compare with the missing people reported in the area, in case a coincidence could arise.

This is the second body that the forensic experts working in their offices in Hospitalet de Llobregat, in the City of Justice, have received this week. On Monday firefighters located the corpses in Montjuïc when they had just put out a fire. His rescue was especially complicated because he was at the bottom of a cliff in the Costa Lloveres gardens. In this case, the body was in an advanced state of putrefaction and also in the absence of identification, the police did not rule out that it was one of the homeless people who sleep in the area and that it could have been precipitated.
